LA CIUDAD COMPRIMIDA (Acrílico / tabla - 91 x 124,5 cm   2014)

Está pensada para ser habitada, mas su estructura ha quedado deformada por presiones descomunales de orígenes y direcciones diversas. No llega a romperse, no hay ruinas; su geometría, ya imposible, permanece mareante. La ventana iluminada mas que un prometedor vestigio de vida es una incógnita inquietante en la absoluta soledad de ese mundo desolado.

THE CONSTRICTED CITY (Acrylic / wooden board - 91 x 124,5 cm   2014)

It is supposed to be inhabited, but its structure has been deformed by unusual forces from diverse origins and directions. It doesn’t fall, there are no ruins; its geometry, though impossible, makes you giddy. The lit window rather than a vestigial promise of life is a disquieting unknown in the absolute solitude of that desolate world.
