PAÑO DE COCINA (Acrílico / lienzo – 65,5 x 92,5 cm   2014)

Paul Cézanne trata los paños genialmente en sus naturalezas muertas. Este sencillo homenaje al genial maestro francés del siglo XIX pretende resaltar ese aspecto de su obra.

 

En esta obra, el paño ha abandonado su puesto natural en un lugar destacado de la composición para presentarse, no obstante, como el personaje principal y centro de interés, aun estando marginado.

Paul Cézanne treats cloths genially in his still lifes. This simple homenage to the genial French 19th C master tries to revive this aspect of his work.

 

In this work, the cloth has left its natural prominent place in the composition to find itself, however, as the principal character and the centre of interest, even being marginalized.
