EL CRISTAL PENETRADO (Construcción / madera – 58,5 x 65,5 cm   2017)

El tornillo (punto focal de la composición) penetrando violentamente en el frágil cristal es símbólico de esta obra. En sentido figurado, "atornillar" es presionar, obligar. La furia y la agresión impregnan toda esta obra que es aspera, tosca y violenta. La tensión encerrada entre esas cuatro paredes, causante del cristal astillado, sacude el ánimo y resulta sobradamente explícita. Esta obra quiere rendir tributo a las mujeres víctimas de la violencia, el abuso y la explotación.

PENETRATED GLASS (Construction / wooden board - 58,5 x 65,5 cm   2017)

The screw (focal point of the composition) violently penetrating the fragile glass is symbolic of this work. Figuratively, "turning the screw" is to press, to insist. Rage and aggression impregnate this work which is rough, coarse and violent. The tension locked in these four walls, causing the glass to shatter, shakes the spirit and is abundantly explicit. This work wants to pay tribute to the female victims of violence, of abuse, and of exploitation.
