T.A.C. DE UNA TELERA DE PAN (Construcción – 60 x 80 cm   2014)

Si se sometiera una telera de pan a un examen de TAC (tomografía axial computarizada), el resultado sería aproximadamente el que aparece en esta obra. Al igual que la técnica médica secciona en rodajas el cuerpo humano desvelando sus posibles daños, se imagina que aplicada a este pan desvelará desde el trabajo del panadero hasta la historia de la tierra que acogió la simiente de trigo.

If you submit a loaf of bread to a CAT scan (computerized axial tomography), the result would be approximately what you see in this work. Just as the medical technique sections in slices the human body revealing any possible damage, you can imagine that applied to a loaf of bread it would reveal from the labour of the baker to the story of the earth which seeded the wheat.
