EL ÚLTIMO ADIOS DE VINCENT (Técnica mixta / lienzo – 80 x 100 cm   2013)

Van Gogh es un genio escurridizo y dificil de concebir en todo su talento. Es inaprensible. Solo cabe imaginarlo. Formas geométricas de por sí consistentes y radicalmente definidas, aparecen casi levitando y se diría que contradictorias en perspectivas que, buscando en principio anularse, se magnifican. Todo ello sobre un suelo indefinible, en el que solo dos elementos aluden claramente al artista admirado: unos girasoles de sombras dobles y divergentes, y una escalera cuyo tramo superior se reserva a un único escalador.

 

El sol y el cielo se imponen como la fuerza plena de color que embruja al artista. Bajo la carga de su intuición, éste avanza por el brazo menos obvio del ancla de su existencia.

 

Hacia el infinito. Hacia la inmortalidad.

THE LAST FAREWELL TO VINCENT (Mixed technique / canvas – 80 x 100 cm   2013)

Van Gogh is a slippery genius and it is difficult to appreciate all his talent. It is incomprehensible. You can only imagine it. Geometric forms in themselves consistent and defined appear to almost be floating, and contradictions in perspective, which should resolve themselves, are magnified. And everything on an undefinable ground, in which only two elements allude to the artist we admire so: some sunflowers with double divergent shadows, and a staircase whose upper part is reserved for just one person.

 

The sun and the sky sit like the strong flat colours which enchant the artist. Under the weight of his intuition, he moves through the less obvious arms ot the anchor of his existence.

 

Towards infinity. Towards immortality.
