La belleza no siempre es indicio de vitalidad, armonía y esplendor; a veces, la belleza es indicativo de muerte y destrucción. Un enorme y refulgente fragmento de un cuerpo celeste, atraído por la fuerza gravitatoria de nuestro planeta, atraviesa la atmosfera dejando tras de sí una estela luminosa de extraordinarias dimensiones, antes de precipitarse de manera apocalíptica al océano. Su luminosidad y su belleza distorsionan el espacio-tiempo que atraviesa; resulta imponente, majestuoso y aterrador. Y somos verdaderos privilegiados como espectadores de un cataclismo inminente.

Beauty is not always an indication of vitality, harmony and splendor; sometimes beauty is indicative of death and destruction. A huge and glowing fragment of a celestial body, attracted by the gravitational force of our planet, passes through the atmosphere leaving behind a trail of light of extraordinary dimensions, before falling apocalyptically into the ocean. Its luminosity and beauty distort the space-time it passes through; it is imposing, majestic and terrifying. And we are truly privileged to be spectators of such an imminent cataclysm.
